fences localisation (german)

eng/ger contextmenus

Hi,

 

i use fences on a german windows 7 x64 and it worked so far flawless.

there is one downer:

fences add an english submenuentry into the german contextmenu of the desktop.

is there a (free) localized version planned?

'ansicht' == 'view', so there 2 menues for the same setting + the points added by fences

It would be good to have it localised for all languages, as this is consistent through all of them.

That's a thing that goes through all SD apps that use context menus. Even worse with DesktopX that changes the whole desktop-menu to englisch. But let's face it : As long as translation is left to the user, we'll have to deal with it. I once did german translations for WindowBlinds and DesktopX but that turned out to be a Sysyphos - work as with every version the translation bits changed. And there can be strange results as we see in ObjectDock.

I think some form of this was already reported (I remember something in Italian...), but just to be sure, send the details to fencesbeta@stardock.com along with your version info and system specs.  Feel free to send them the url for this post as well.

Fences is other languages coming soon.  Right now there is no way to not make it English.

Right now, English is the only language supported/available.
