I just checked my XP Home system, I have both programs loaded and working, no updates showing.

You might try clicking preferences and then selecting rsset data and see if that clears it up.  You find preference by hitting the icon in the top left hand corner in Impulse.

Have you tried going to the update page in Impulse and clicking on the "Install all updates" button under the help icon?

I too am a OD ultimate subscriber and have the exact same problem with the same two files as Disturbed Computer. I am running WinXP SP3. I have gone into preferences and reset the data as well as tried to do as CarGuy 1 has suggested, all to no avail.

Same thing here...."the application you are attempting to download/register is not available."...I just clicked ignore this update...got tired of it nagging me. [e digicons]<_<[/e]

@ carguy1

no I have not did that but if I do try that will it try to update  cursorFX plus  cause I only have cursorFX  no plus

I just clicked ignore this update...got tired of it nagging me.

what WebGizmos said if I do block the update to these two programs will that stop newer ones from coming in or just that perticular update?

and now just off topic every time I post and want to copy or paste I get the message do you want IE to access your clipboard

my Question is how do or can I set it to remember YES I DO. if I did'n then I would not have right clicked and tried to copy/paste..

and what happend to spell checker in the forums??? oh and why dose it when I click on quote it adds it to the begening and not ware I have the flashing cursor thing at ..hint is the reason for copy and pasting

Download file invalid: MD5s do not match server

This error is typically caused by a peice of security software (such as an antivirus, anti-spyware, etc) running on your system.  Do you have any security app running on your system?  If so, please temporary disable all, or at the minimum, make exemptions for Impulse and the folders that Impulse uses.

WindowFX

Error: Then beta of the application you are attempting to download/register is not available.

This problem should be fixed now.  Your WindowFX should show as up-to-date if you have version 3.00a.018

I just tried IamDean's suggestions with mixed results. After disabling my anti-virus, anti-spyware programs as well as my firewall I went back to impulse and still get the same message after downloading Virtual Desktops. As to Windows FX it no longer shows an update. I fired up the program and now the program says it is version 3.1!

October 30, 2009 13:41:09

@ IamDean, Thanks the FX is gone (out of the update section)

now for SVD I still get this >> Download file invalid: MD5s do not match server

and yes I do have Avast running I did go into the Exclusion list and added Impulse to it and did have Avast to > Stop on access protection and went one step further and went into XP's firewall and added impulse to the list .... I do not have any

anti-spyware, etc) running .. I manuly run those

oh and after making the changes I did restart my pc

to all thanks for all the help so far that is... BEERS for everyone [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
