Is Sysmetrix just too old?

By Posted October 27, 2009 04:07:11

I've been using and skinning Sysmetrix for years.

Since I got my new pc about a month ago, I've not been able to get Sysmetrix to see memory. It just shows zero.

Is it because I have 6Gb tripple channel? Is that beyond Sysmetrix? Does anyone else have this problem? Is it to do with a 64bit O/S?

A lot of stuff in Sysmetrix already doesn't work because of MBM not working with more modern motherboards, now this [e digicons][/e]

Anything over 2 gb makes sysmetrix puke.......try Samurize or Rainmeter.

The new Rainmeter's pretty spiffy but Samurize is easier to work with. The problem with them is most configs will require some modifications to run on each differeent computer. Both have a packaging format that addresses some of the issues but you need to be familiar with it BEFORE you use it or your downloaded config won't work.

I have both on my systems but tend to use Samurize.

Yep...both RAM and CPU sit on zero for me...win 7 64bit [i7 and 12 gig DDR3]

The VMware of XP on the system fares better....set to 2gig ....and even the CPU shows activity...

My CPU works - same processor etc as you.

My CPU works - same processor etc as you.

It twitches...if you look really closely.....clearly the CPU is truly undertaxed....
