Space Rangers 2 Reboot problems

I created a post about this earlier, but it has vanished, strangely...

I own the retail US version of Space Rangers 2. I just purchased Reboot and it won't run after install. I do meet the minimum requirements by having teh full version of SP2 installed so what gives? I had a similar issue with SOTS: ANY but Stardock resolved it easily.

How do I resolve this issue?
