thats twice now that yarlen responded without actually addressing our concerns. he still hasnt explained what the constructor icon was placeholding for. now, i suppose it could be a placeholder for the envoy cruiser, but then why wouldnt he just say that? makes me think (hope) something is up

If you guys haven't noticed it...there is a TRAILER for DIPLOMACY on the HOME page...check it out.

I'm not impressed with the trailer quality. It looks as if it was pieced together since some parts of the screen take longer to get to the foreground than others.

Not to be rude or anything, but they should have spent a little more time on it. It seems like a rushed production. But I do understand that the devs. are swampped at the moment.

I liked the trailer, especially sense raw gameplay footage probably isn't the best medium for promoting diplomacy. Oh, look at that intense negotiation screen! Unless the diplomats get into melees with eachother of course. [e digicons]}[/e]

Sorry, I addressed it in another thread. There are no new capital ships for Diplomacy. The button that got everyone's hopes up is just in the wrong menu. Sorry. [e digicons]:blush:[/e]
