Help on creating!

What do I do if say, I want to create a desktop pet?

I want it to walk around on the desktop, be animated(already have the pics), also how can I do so it can follow the cursor?

it doesn't have to follow the cursor but it would be nice to have sort of a menu so I can turn off "follow".

And at double click another animation of it leaving the screen?

Have a cat chase a mouse,
With a bird in the house.
ZubaZ thinks they are quite apropos.

Ron is the name of the Desktop pet.
Tweety and Neko are the others.
YOu can tweak the code of the latter two
and make a slew of brothers
