Getting Entrenchment

I'm a big Sins fan(best game i've ever played) but when i bought the expansion on impulse (in the SoaSE bundle pack) and had downloaded the bundle onto my desktop, i found that entrenchment wasn't there and when i ran Sins (to see whether it had just copied over the original Sins) i found that it was just the original and not the expansion. I don't know whether it was because of an error in the download (though it come up with an error bar) or what has happened but i hve only now got the original SoaSE and not the epansion when i paid for both.

I have gone back to the impulse purchase list and checked to make sure it is available to buy immediately and i haven't found a text bar saying that its "out of stock" or "out in October" or anything. I tried to buy just the expansion but the store (and Paypal) don't register the order (while i havent been charged for it..) and just come up with a message to go back to the "Merchant Menu" which is the original impulse store game lists.

I might have just made a real noobie mistake but as I live in th UK it wont be sold from the stores here as physical media (a dvd package) until the 30th of October so any suggestions will be extremely helpful.

did you restart impulse?

Assuming they do show up under "my games," I would suggest uninstalling your current install on your PC and downloading/installing directly from Impulse. First install Sins, update it with the most recent patch, then install Entrenchment, then update that. I've never used the desktop option to install, as it's really an unnecessary step. Please note, you'll want to select your install location from Impulse preferences before you begin the process.

It's not really clear from your post, but make sure that you've actually opened Impulse and installed the game from there--it sounds like you may have just grabbed Impulse itself from the link in the receipt email, but that's just the installer for the game, not the game itself.

Beyond that, ss Star Dragon noted Sins and Entrenchment are separate downloads even if you bought the bundle. If the My Games tab doesn't show both of them, then the missing Entrenchment is likley due to an account or registration issue. If you email support@stardock.com about it they should be able to sort it out.

Once i hd bought the bundle i opened impulse (not from the reciept in the email from my desktop) and started download straight from there. once the download had finished i ran the game only to find it was the original.

there was only one SoaSE option in "My Games" in impulse to download to start off with.

My Demigod order didn't go thru so I emailed them. Don't expect it right away but since it is a time between the release of games (etc.) you may get it fairly soon. It took about two days for a response but that was right at the release of Demigod. Still, they will help you til it is solved

Have gotten a reply from stardock, made silly mistake when entering registration info, (mistyped e-mail address). Problem has been sorted and hav been able to install and play game (its awesome!!!!)

Ah, aha. A good rule of thumb is that whenever something dependant on information errors out, verify every piece of info correct.
