Object Desktop?

Is it worth it?

I have been using the trial version of windows blinds, icon packer and some of the other products available with the Object Desktop

I was just wondering is it worth it to buy this package? What do you all think of it?

Also how does the payment work, because it will be my friend buying it for me because i dont own an online bank account, would that cause any problems?

yes.. just like any good software.. your yearly subscription helps keep it in development..thus constantly offering updates etc..

So what happens when your year is up, do the programs just go back to free trial mode...

After the year is up,you still get to use your software. The sub is only for updates, new releases,access to some betas and 4 free MyColors themes per year.It also gets you discounts on other SD software.You can get ODNT for a year,let it expire and renew again when or if you want to anytime.If you like the software(and what's not to like) then it is a great value and a fun way to safely change the look of your computer.

Not at all,it's easy to gift someone an ODNT sub.

You should contact sales at Stardock for the details and your m8 needs to let them know it's a gifted purchase. They will need your e-mail addy and you will need to install Impulse to download and update your software. I don't want to give any wrong info so either wait and a mod or ZubaZ will jump in and give you better info or contact sales..
