Agreed hope the game is as good as the video (being BioWare that is an excellent chance)

But its an MMO. We're going to have to wait until release to see if it truly is good or not.

The trailer is certainly epic and gives me high hopes but I have this bad feeling they will be crushed.

I just failed a Fort save to avoid being stunned for 1d8 rounds by sheer awesome.

June 1, 2009 22:20:38

I wish teh last three movies were as good as that trailer.

June 1, 2009 22:21:17

I am blown away by the awesomeness of that movie. It makes me wish I had played the KotoR games.

That was Amazing [e digicons]rool:[/e] ... I am an Eve player and time will tell if I will play this game too...

Looks great. I hope the graphics are close to as good as they were in that trailer because I was stunned.

June 1, 2009 22:41:42

Coming from BioWare, it will be awesome.

Highly recommend playing them. They should be easy to find on Amazon and cheap as well.

eekkkk! I can't wait!

If you've ever played D&D, I wouldn't recommend KOTOR. Sadly, it just feels archaic and railroaded, and it never feels like there are enough options for character development, or levelling for that matter.

All the ships and technology look like nothing from the previous games..it's only 300 years in the future from those. WTF

June 2, 2009 02:27:01

Jaw droppingly awesome!

Our cars look nothing like 300 years ago, wait.. we didn't have cars back then. Our plains look nothing like plains from 300 years ago.. wait, we didn't have plains!

Excellent trailer.

Too bad it doesn't say a thing about the game. SPORE looked amazing before it's release, too.

I'm looking forward to it, however the trailer doesn't do much to excite me one way or the other.

@ Zubaz, You mean nine movies, six have been already made and the other 3 movies, well only time will tell. George better hurry up tho, Ford (Han Solo) is no spring chicken now. The children of Han Solo saga. I just hope Thrawn will be in the next set of moives. They will be destoring solar systems this time around. You know it's gotta come full circle. You got the Middle first then Begining second and now the End last.

Master Yoda said "Mmm One master, One apprentice at a time there is only Mmm"  so if Master Yoda is never wrong, then how come a spaceship full of sith lords? Aaah I can't wait to find out? What, the release date is Dec 31, 2020.

Edit: sorry, 2010

Anyway awesome eye candy just like watching Diablo 3 Tailer over and over. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e]

I'd post something about the trailer, but I'm still busy picking my teeth up from the floor when the jaw dropped. Saw this last night

@ Luckmann, thank you I didn't really want to wait two years to find out.

The Sith Lords broke Drath Bane's Rule of Two. So when is this time line?

Oh to hell with the game...

I want to watch the entire MOVIE!!!   lol!!!

June 2, 2009 09:55:22

This game looks like it'll be awesome judging by the trailer and the previous two Knights of the Old Republic games.

The Sith Lords broke Drath Bane's Rule of Two. So when is this time line?

The Knights of the Old Republic games were set around 4000 years before the original film trilogy. Darth Bane's Rule of Two was only implemented after the Sith got badly beaten around 1000 years before the original film trilogy, as a way of hiding from the Jedi. Remember in Episode 1 where the Jedi Council mention in discusson how the Sith have been extinct for a millenium (1000 years). So rather than breaking the rule of two the Sith have yet to invent it at this point.

Made my head hurt.  I've been away form the SW universe for too long I guess.

I can only hope that we are done.

I knew NONE of that and some didn't even make sense.

I don't know but where can I get my hands on an autostripper? Imagine the uses for that thing...
