1. You hear an airplane fly by and shout "The Drengen are here! The Drengen are here!"

2. When you do the above, you get your plasma blaster and shoot it down

I'll post more later, now let's see your creative juices flow!

102 - You are reminising with family about the "good ole days" and you remark. "Hey, remember when the GC2 forums actually worked......"

You're lucky,  I wasn't around back then.

103. You have hooked up your PC with a set of 10 Monitors, two keyboards and four mouses. This way you can bring up nine diplomacy screens at once, and have at it all you want. If only you could patch this code to allow for proper distribution of even more sectors (as immense seemed to have become way too small for your taste)... you'd be happy since it would be fun to send a flagship on Anomalies hunt and watch it 'jump' between that many interfaces.

104.  You see a praying mantis and think, "Oh no, a lost baby Thalan!"

105. You think all battles in history consist of either blinking flags or soldiers and tanks forming perfect lines and charging at each other.

106. You insist that it is impossible for a solar system to have more than five planets.

107. You are supprised when a 50,000-ton battleship doesn't spin around as if on a pivot.

108. You think a blue triangle is a good idea for a flag.

109. When planning to add an extra room to your home, you start by checking the existing structure for translucent red arrows.

110. You've just finished the last page of your will (it IS a book of horrors, btw), here's what is written up in paragraph 215.6 alinea C, sub-category 8.05b;

-- I hereby give all my GC2 files to nobody. Throw them all into the coffin, seal it and let me play virtually for eternity. And, don't forget the hard-drives too.

111.  You wonder why the ISS isn't adding any factory production to your home town.

112.  When something bad happens in your life, you keep thinking, "No big deal, I can just reload an autosave."

113. Anytime you start to feel like you've got your life in order and everything's going your way, you start to feel paranoid, worry about that mega-event bound to be just around the corner.

As an aside, I've actually had thoughts like this when I've been in a half-awake in bed in the morning sometimes, like:  "My gf broke up with me, but I'll just reload from last Thursday!"  Maybe my grip on reality is weak...  [e digicons]XD[/e]    Kind of similar to when you play a game so much that you're still playing it in your dreams when you go to sleep.

114. While at work you constantly engage your co-wokers to trade. You offer Binder Clips 2 for one read and 2 blue pens. Sometimes you just give them paper clips so they'll like you more.

Or when you erase something from an actual piece of paper and think you can "undo" when you change yoiur mind. The thought has actually happened to me before i realizedf that actual events can't be undone.

115.  Real-time seems to jump in increments of 5 hours, which is also how often you blink.

116.  You keep wanting to reduce the graphics quality of everything at work, so that it will go faster, letting you get back to playing sooner.

117. You refer to your computer area as Central Command.

118. You think your evil science teacher is a Korath in disguise.

August 28, 2008 19:24:46

119. You tell your science teacher that meteors and asteroids are anomolies

August 29, 2008 00:39:36

120. You just wrote a letter to your Bank asking them to modify their silly ATM machines with two more digitouch buttons; Accept & Reject. Even the boring graphics could use some shiny metallics. BankGothic Bold's drop_shadows re-fonting wouldn't hurt either. All of your personal funds are also "in-transit" to a suggested new currency - BCs. You'd recommend sliders too but that may be too much for them to understand. You'd gladly pay fees for a "morale" boost control every time you pull out cash from the regular slot anyway. The magnetic 'brownish' data bar on the flip side of your id cards could use a new set of colors too - heck, even a progressive red-yellow-green slider type would be enough. You're threatening to switch accounts with another better banker within 30 galactic turns unless they comply to those reasonable requests.
