My Public Apology For Last Week's Post's

By Posted June 20, 2008 17:33:51

To Stardock Support, Wincustomize, and to the forum community, I issue this sincere apology for my recent behavior in the Impulse area of the forums. I have had some things going on in my life for some time now that recently precipitated my obnoxious behavior, but I recognize now that this behavior was inexcusable. I should not have made my problems your problems. I have been a member of WinCustomize Forum since 2005, and I have always been what I would characterize as a quiet introverted backbencher, and my recent behavior is not typical of my usual behavior. I hope that you can find it in your hearts to forgive those transgressions. Thank you for listening. Again, my sincerest apologies.

P.S. Feel free to comment if you wish, but be aware I cannot respond.  I'm sure I'll diserve whatever comments you can dish up anyway, so no response should be required... right?

Thanks for stepping up; it says more about you than your recent behaviour.

Thank you.

You Live you learn.

We all have acted badly at times in our lives, it's the ability to recognize those times and try to make amends that truely shows who we are as Individuals. Thanks for the Post, I hope this will be the first of what ever steps are needed to return to the fold.

Peace  HG.

Good, bad or obnoxious behavior will always be part of the forums. Why, because we are a community of people. People will have good and bad days, weeks, or what ever.

The fact that you felt you needed to take the the time to explain your actions is no less then what would be expected from a member of the community. Did you get that, I said you are a member of the community, don't forget it.

Besides what you may have happening in your personal life, you had frustrations with trying to use the software. As individuals we can only take so much before the steam blows the top off of the pot.

For myself, apology accepted.

Thank you very much for your efforts in this. It takes a big man to admit when he is wrong.

I wish more people could do the same more often (I am not ecempt from this of course).

From support I'll thank you myself for the gesture.

Your human! If you need an apology for that...accepted!

We're building up and tearing down,
In every thing we do.

Or on the wrecking crew?

WOM's all for second chances.
June 21, 2008 10:17:34
Alrighty then
June 21, 2008 12:27:02
Personally this is how I feel.

I don't know what you did. I don't know what you said. For that matter, I don't know you. But this much I do know. For a man to pour his heart out in apology to an entire community regardless of feedback, reprecussions or consequence, that is a genuine man.

The kind of man that keeps a great community strong. The kind of man I wouldn't mind being around.

And that's alright with me...

  Here's to you Gardenerstouch!

I'm a firm believer in second chances when someone admits to thier mistakes and takes steps to correct them...this was a big step in the right direction.

but be aware I cannot respond

Ironic...when I look at your profile from Impulse, your still a citizen and not exiled.
