Ok , after the 20 or so preview threads that were all over the darn place, I am making a single location where we can post all the reviews of the game for easy reference.

My review is that I is not available at either GameStop or BestBuy. Both stores looked it up in their computers and said it comes out on 2/5/2008, not Today 2/4/2008! It's not on their shelves and their release date is different.

Probably True SnallTrippin. But I have gone to both stores on the release date of a new game before and they did have it. The salesguy at BestBuy said that most games come out on Tuesdays as far as he knows. Oh well, tomorrow then, or I'll check Wal-mart and the other stores/sites today..

I've been led to believe that 2/4/2008 is the day it's shipped from the publisher and not the release date.

Yeah, sometimes the release date is actually the date that the game is shipped to the stores and pre-orders are mailed. Luckily a game store is within walking distance from my work.

bro i kno man, i went to eb games , to best buy and to walmart and they all said the same thing, the game came out today but they dnt get it till 2mowow i was like wat!!!!!!! another day

In the US, just about all new games, DVDs and even books are released on a Tuesday. I don't know how this came to be, but it is now a tradition in the world of publishing.

its because no one ever game in the stores on a Tuesday, so they made game and movie releases TUESDAY!

Yeah, Sins only shipped on Monday. Not sure how the Tuesday thing got started either, but we've been told the same thing by our distributor...

everyone check out the user reviews at gamespot. that one guy that calls it boring, changed his intro and made his review longer to try and sound more sincere after he was called a troll in the forum. his original review was a sentence long and it said "simply put, this game is boring".

go back to halo, troll.

this is one of the greatest RTS games ever.

Eight? That's all this game is getting? At most an 8.7?

Sins of a Solar Empire is game of the year material! Granted, I say this only two months into the new year, but I still believe that Sins should be granted some sort of award. Ironclad has created a masterpiece which will be enjoyed for many months and hopefully years to come.

I miss the days when the gaming industry was about innovation and not recreation. Thank you, Ironclad, and Stardock, for contributing to the former and not the latter.

agreed. watching "space week tuesday" on HISTHD and SCIHD while playing this game.....PRICELESS.
