Hi all and welcome to the Tyranny of Evil. The Tyranny of Evil is a dedicated Metaverse empire that has risen to prominence in just 1 year. 2nd place on the AltMeta and a soon to be 3rd place in the MV is no small feat from an empire with ~39 active players.

Dedicated to the pursuit of evil, we encourage all players, new or veterans, to join us in our quest to be the strongest, most active and long lived empire in the Metaverse.

We pride ourselves on being one of the most active empires in the MV or the Altmeta, and it is that activity that makes us unique. Our members are active submitters of games and have a very strong and prominent forum presence.

Our Empire compromises some of the most seasoned veterans of this site along with many respected users in this community. For the Undying to attempt to have us banned and ostracized for what i can see as only his frustration, though founded perhaps, was a very poor choice on his behalf.

so was this just a lather/rinse/repeat of the situation with He-Whose-Name-Shall-Not-Be-Remembered? jealousy blossoming into vendetta and poor sportsmanship?

It hasn't compromised me yet. It is partly comprised of me though.

If you don't mind me staying around a little longer, Seth said that my thread had won some kind of "Most pointless thread" award? SSAF I think, had a link in one of his rants, but I do not seem to have clearance for that forum. If we did win this, I am happy, as the entire point of the thread was to be pointless. I am sorry that this annoys some people, and I am still trying to find a site to post the D&S show without disturbing the forum community. Best Regards,

I thought that poll was in the off topic or lounge area. One or the other. I didn't pay much attention to it and didn't vote in it.

Samurye truthfully it's not your fault and shouldn't be your place to have to try hide your threads in some spot that won't cross over. SD kinda forced the migration on us all. Some resisted and complained(I know I did for a while), some left and some just rolled with it. IMO about the two closest forums in themes to should crossover would be GC2 and Sins. Demigod and Elemental are entirely different animals though gaming sites so of some common interest. The only one I am still actively against and shall remain so is having the Joeloser off_topic section crossover to here. That kind of biased Political based nonsense with at times adult themes does not belong in a gaming forum.

No, I was making fun of the trolls that cry about their "entitlement" and "right" to shiny new monster PCs (now you should know what I'm talking about) and those that enter empire threads and yell at entire empire when a simple and more polite post would have settled the matter sooner. Reminds me why I left here in the first place...well that and some major donkey crap in RL

OMG.! I just hit a glitch from hell while playing DL. Playing along all factory, barely staying out of shut down when after a turn change I end up -14431148...bc in debt [e digicons]8C[/e] . I thought it strange I finished the entire Miniturization line in a turn with all factory so I looked at the graphs and my tech shot up to 1.8Million out of nowhere.

Have to revert to save to try to salvage the game, but wish I could end it now to see what kind of score that Tech would get me in year zero, but i'm not in position to. [e digicons]x_x[/e]

i had some RL stuff go down in janaury that im still working through, and prolly will be for the next few months. not end of the world, but a very big headache, and very paperwork intensive.

that and i havent opened up GC2 since...unh...sometime last fall. Finally got sucked into World of Warcraft. Saddening I know. I do enjoy it alot though

You're only 14M in debt, though-it pushed me 537M into debt.

It's been a very long time since I played DL, but see if you can get Xeno Ethics off of someone and go Neutral.

No go there it's still too early in the game, all the good tech they have is ones I traded them

Probably not fret about it too much, just start another. Weird that in Hundreds(and possibly 1000) hours playing this game I don't remember coming across that glitch before.

I didn't get one either for my first couple hundred games. Nor since, although that's probably largely due to the related bug being fixed in DA and up.

This one I have now came that way, it was one of the many they showed from elemental. Usually though if your border is a solid color it is easy to make it transparent using GIMP or another Image editing program. It can be a little more involved if the border is multicolor but still pretty simple if your familiar with the proggy your using.

I just drew a red circle in Paint and filled it in, then opened it up in Paint.net. I selected the circle and cropped to the selection. Opened my square original avatar and used the ellipse tool to select a circle and cropped to the selection. Then copied that and pasted it into a new layer over the red circle I drew earlier. Resized to 100 pixels and saved as a .png.

Paint.net is a good free paint program that handles transparencies.

motti, when i saw you'd switched to a xperent circle, i almost openned up gimp and did a faded version for you (so that it'd blend into any colored background). but then i got hit by the urge to do something else. c'est la vie.

Speaking of Avatars. SS why don't you have one?

I think it was due to the brower vs forum vs flash issue.

Cool idea. I hope you don't mind me stealing it from you. I did a fade and reduced it to 100 pixels. I like.

I switched to back to flash 9 on my IE. I hardly use it much so at least I can change avatars with it, since I want to keep FF up to date with flash10

Hmm...There's a strange phemomenom happening here. Moisture appears to be precipitating right out of the atmosphere.

It appears to be coming from those fluffy structures in the sky. I think I've seen this before. We had a name for it way back then. Can't recall what it was though.
