Hi all and welcome to the Tyranny of Evil. The Tyranny of Evil is a dedicated Metaverse empire that has risen to prominence in just 1 year. 2nd place on the AltMeta and a soon to be 3rd place in the MV is no small feat from an empire with ~39 active players.

Dedicated to the pursuit of evil, we encourage all players, new or veterans, to join us in our quest to be the strongest, most active and long lived empire in the Metaverse.

We pride ourselves on being one of the most active empires in the MV or the Altmeta, and it is that activity that makes us unique. Our members are active submitters of games and have a very strong and prominent forum presence.

BTW, I have found prey species taste even better with a nice garlic-caper-cream sauce with a glass of Riesling on the side. What do the Kzinti serve prey species with? Something barbaric or something delightfully sublime? I'm thinking of starting a sideline in prey species cookbooks so your input, just between us respectful adversaries, is solicited.

The Terran side of me says that your choice of wine pairing and sauce sounds delicious, the lupine side of me just likes the meat warm...about 98.6 F served with a can of whoopass.

i don't personally have anything against you posting about your empire in our thread, however i would like to ask a favor: could you please stick to relatively normal font sizes, at least in here? it's just unnecessarily large, and i'm pretty sure at least a couple others in here feel that way. thanks,

I'd vote for the 12pt for your font. Also size down you're signature, that thing really takes up some room.

imdeed, +1 on both counts. 12 point is closest to the normal size on these forums, and the signature is quite a chunk of real estate at that font size. have you considered making a banner?

Behold, using my special strategy, I have managed to get 186,900, the highest score ever gotten using TA.

(Pssst...Loupdinour, imagine if he really does think that is the highest score ever in TA. Just think how good he must feel! He must feel like he is ten feet tall and just shot up black tar heroin with a bottle of bourbon back. Yeah, I thought I had gotten the highest MV score using TA but then I checked several other MV characters, I was wrong.

And at that point, I personally, would have wrote the response "yeah, it was a typo, I meant my highest" and enjoy the fact people couldn't see my red face.

i hit 200k a few weeks ago on a game i was "taking easy". i'm hoping the one i have in the works will break 500k, but it's a maso so we'll see. i'm definately stepping up to suicidal next game.

I don't know how my ToE brothers feel about helping out Geckodons, you do after all compete for the same prey species, just as the Kzinti, but in TA my advice is speed, speed, speed in the colony rush. I don't mean ship speed either, I mean grab planets as fast as possible and grab resources even faster. If your economy doesn't melt down repeatedly then you aren't doing it right. Most of us tend to play cautiously when learning a game, but I like GalCiv TA because it adheres to the dictum of war, "get there the fastest with the mostest". Over the last two months I've gone from initially scoring 35,000 to doing quite a bit better mainly by paying attention to Mumblefratz. He has some excellent advice on these forums. I don't do his starbase array, but read what he has to say about how the score is calculated and then think how you might modify your game play to really rack up the points.

Quite ok actually. DA, Motti and myself all have characters in the Gecko's trying to keep young Seth going.

Yes I know you guys were having a laugh. Anyways I think that my score will increase every time I play an MV game.

Next aim for 200K, that is nothing to sneeze at under any game parameters.

i hate to add to your burden, but i must decline your offer. with two slots engaged, i have only one left. any general worth his salt, will keep forces in reserve until the decisive blow. my troops are committed.

Ok , this is font 12 and I will use it from now on. Being a newbie, I'm just glad that everybody is so helpful. I have a question, How do you make a banner and is it linkable? Please tell me step by step.
